Inpromptu OOF Meet at Talkin Tarn

I went for a walk to a local beauty spot today and parked next to a star silver MV6.

Of course I OOF'ed him with one of Mike's flyers and was ready to set off when the owner came back. :o

Imagine my surprise when he asked me if I had any trouble with my CD player as one side of his output was broken ...... er no, came my reply, but try the website in the flyer and they'll be able to help. :)

He explained he already had, but had never been able to post since joining - so I took his name and said I'd see what I could do.

But then I kind of forgot - I thing it's Phil Thompson - who is a member here with 0 posts, so I've emailed him.

Does that qualify as an OOF meet - no pics I'm afraid  :D

So, if anyone has any advice please reply here in case he drops in - it's the Multi CD jobby in a 51 reg MV6 and one side if the output is dead  :y

Really, some folk will try anything :P.....I met two folk today one in a pre-facelift and one in a facelift meega, the bloke in the pre-facelift let me pass him, don't know why :-/, think he must be AA's mate (yes he was driving slow) ;D ;D........don't suppose that'll qualify as a meet neither though, as they were both in their cars :P

The last time I tried repairing a multiCD it never worked again  ;D ;D

I should be The Champion Flier Fitter ;D

But in Massive Omega drivers other than Me and DC are either old or have spent all there money on christmas as we are so giving.. that they cant afford a computer ;)

Alas no, but we were only 3 miles from that big wall that keeps them all out  :y

In which case, it could be considered a liaison if not a full blown meet.  :y Still, I guess it's for the OOF jury to decide on the validity of such an event.  ;D ;D
