central locking
« on: 07 May 2010, 09:08:18 »

How do I solve this one. My passenger door is locked and will not unlock with the other doors. The button will not pull up so I have no way of opening the door.

Had the same problem a while back. From outside the car with the window open get as firm a grip as you can on the door button and pull steadily upwards continuously. With any luck it will release. You may have to try a few times. Worked for me on my mini facelift version.

Yes, solenoid will need replacing as it did on mine. Try to source a second hand one unless you want to pay big bucks at the stealer. I got one for a tenner.

depends which one you need. I have an oval plug on you can have if thats the one you need. Mine was the square plugged one!!!

Although I sorted mine with liberal amounts of WD40 when I had it out (and found I had the wrong replacement!). Been working fine since!
