Flexi-joint 2.2 exhaust

Flex-joint blowing where it meets the cat. Can I use a wrap around exhaust bandage or am I looking at more expense :question

bandage won't do any good, you need this flexi:

They do change suppliers, second one i got was much better (according to DTM) although it was stainless

Cut the old one off and weld it on, i've had Mr DTM do both of ours. When refitting the replacements are a tad longer and can cause the zorst to hit the heat shields or subframe, so might need 'adjustment' at some point  ::)

Can it be done in situ or does the complete cat assembly need to be removed

Has to be removed as you need to weld around it, 4 bolts on the exhaust manifold (be worth replacing the gasket)

One bolt at the main cat bracket, and two bolts for the exhaust.

I removed it and took it for a holiday in Nottingham
