Where best to get new parts?

Hi guys,

started to try and fix the 2.6 CDX.

where can i get new parts from in the Bicester Oxford area?

It depends what parts you are after. Some parts are recommended genuine Vauxhall only some you can use good pattern parts.

sorry, i should have worded it better.

the parts i require at this present moment in time are cam cover seals.

also, on the cam covers, are they just standard 'o' rings around the torx screw holes? or are they vauxhall only jobs ie non standard size.

Genuine only for these items
Camcover gaskets: 90511451, one set per bank
O-rings: 90411826, 8 per bank

I personally use Bridge in Banbury.  There is a dealer in Kidlington as well.

I use Hartwell Oxford (Kidlington) all the time, excellent service...never had cause to fault them. Parts department is good, and if the young chap on the desk doesn't know what I want, he will go and get the other parts department staff and get it sorted. They once spent an hour double checking, and phoning different places to confirm what they suggested was the correct part.
Only thing they've never done is get me a trade card application form, I always ask...I'll get one, one day I'm sure.
And the receptionist that is normally there is very beautiful, so I don't mind spending all my money there  ;D
