Filters?
« on: 01 January 2008, 22:57:38 »

Anyone use Purolator filters?

Engine oil is due a change so was going to change petrol filter and cabin filter too.

Any items that are proven better than O/E items?

Thanks,

Andy.

How would you know if it's working any beter than standard?

For items like this I don't see any point in using anything other than the GM parts. They are cheap enough and Omegas have been proven to soak up high mileages without engine wear using GM filters. More than can be said for any aftermarket replacement.

Join Autobahnstormers! Their membership card gets you trade prices.

Oil change with geniune GM oil & filter on my 2.2 costs less than £10!
