Well that looks a alot of damage to the roof at the Royal Marsden cancer hospital in Fulham,  west london. And that means a lot of work coming up for me as my company supplies all it's vending equipment and supplies. With the amount of water being used to dampen the fire then everything in the building will be compleatly doused. But the Main thing is that nobody has been hurt and could have been a lot worse that it is so a BIG pat on the back to the fire services.Heros all of them.

That part of the hopital is behind the main older building and has very limited vehicle access and the brigade would have had to run miles of pipes to get to the fire. I have often wondered what would happen if a fire broke out in that wing and sadly that has happened, The staff and nurses at that hospital are some of the most dedicated that i have ever met in my time as a contractor there, or anywhere to be truthfull.
