radio code

i have a 2001 mv6 estate which i had to disconnect the battery today for a coil replacement when all was done i put the radio code in from the security card that came with the car but radio wuoldnt accept it ive now tried it 3 times with no success it stays in safe mode has anyone got any ideas thanks.

Guessing you have wrong code then ;D

Worth pulling out radio, you'd be surprised how often the code is written on it ;D

Silly question i know but have u followed the instructions to the letter?  :-/

Have read somewhere that the more times u try to put the code in the longer u have to wait before trying again or 'safe' mode comes on automatically  :(

I think that TheBoy's tip cud reveal the correct code at the back or confirm u have the correct code at least  :y

Wish mine bloody was. Unit fuse popped yesterday, no code, no radio :'(

Hold the AS button until you hear a beep, type in the code using buttons 1-4 then hold AS button again until the beep. If the code is correct it'll work.
