Best replacement HT leads
« on: 19 June 2010, 08:03:32 »

Going to be fully servicing the v6 and it's bugging me about getting the leads changed too. Vaux wanted something stupid like £120 just for 3 last time I enquired so ended up with local motor factor set.

Where do you guys buy yours? I think I saw magnecor online somewhere once but wanted to asked you guys first

thanks

8mm it is then! Not worth paying the extra for 8.5mm?

I bought a set of Bosch ones off Fleabay for the V6 Galaxy I owned before the Mig. Had a real problem fitting them and had to take some of the plastic covers of the engine, and still they were tight.

Could just have been that set, but they were cheap so wondering if maybe they were slight seconds? Had I bought them from a local dealer/shop I could have easily returned them, but I had to use them as I had multiple old leads breaking down. Funny thing is, they seemed to measure up to the old ones OK :-?

How the he'll you manage to get them for £60? I can see them all over eBay for £150 which is only £20 cheaper than kv85! Blue would suit the engine bay mind....
