Irmscher spoiler led's question...
« on: 22 June 2010, 13:52:54 »

Hi Folks

Can you change the LED's on the brakelight in an Irmscher boot spoiler ??  :-/
Pre-facelift Omega.

Are the LED's individual or one-piece unit ??

Any help or advice welcome... :y

If some leds don't work it is probably failure of the solder joints due to water ingress.
The LEDs themselves are quite reliable and individually replaceable.
I dismantled mine and resoldered the dodgy joints.
Worked fine ever since.

That's interesting, quite happy to do that.
Thanks for explaining how you did it.
