Track rod end thinggy

hey guys had the car up on a ramp the other day and noticed that the passenger side rear track rod end thinggy was broke and i was just wondering what you called it is it the track rod end and linkage bar? and i take it once i have fitted this i will then need the wheel alignment done??
would this make the car feel like a bit of a boat when i hit a bump?

I presume you mean the drop link gose from shock absorber to lower arm. If it was track rod end broken youd lose your steering. :-?

new droplink does not affect steering geometry
