Used a Powerchip in a previous 3.0, seemed to make it more lively, certainly helped when towing a big caravan.
Fuel consumption was slightly better if anything.
Overall, no dramatic improvement, just little bits here and there so it depends on price. Would I pay the £100 odd again? No.

SuperChip into a 3.0 MV6 Manual, very slight sniff of better acceleration. better MPG from best ever 34 to 37 MPG (on a run).

Courtenay Chip into a 3.0 MV6 Auto, BHP not really noticed, better MPG from best ever 32 to 39 MPG, again on a run.

Got both these chips for free, dont think I'd be a happy man if I'd have paid a few hundred quid for them!

Chris.

A friend of mine had a superchipped 3.0 mv6 and on a completely standard engine that was dyno'd at 222bhp
He was adamant it was much quicker, but i cant say i was overly impressed for how much they cost
