Aye, I know, but they're all working as they should when I watch them. Should really have a look at them under heavy load, but that might be tricky  :-?

Certainly would  ;D
Maybe vac leak ? Not unusual for there to be enough vacuum to tickle the valve to see it move but not enough to keep it fully open. Its a bugger to diagnose. Rolling road?

Could this be a problem with one of the vacuum tanks? The main one is low down on the left side of radiator looking back from the front of car. There is also another one on some cars under the scuttle next to the pollen filter.

chrisgixer: I've been looking for vac leaks, but I can't hear or find any. Sprayed with carb cleaner in all the suspicious areas, but no detectable leaks. I might make a fixture to register the movement on the flaps. A microswitch glued onto something maybe? I'll see what I can do. No rolling road available :(

Varche: This one only got one vac tank under the scuttle and it keeps the vacuum for days (tried that, trust me) :)

I've made a little video showing some driving. Not that it's anything special, but maybe someone can compare to their miggy? This one will give you an impression of acceleration and sound in various gears. Right click and save as (78MB file). http://www.omcoslo.com/bil/omegadrive.wmv

I'm about to go mad.. at least it feels like it.

Tried something new today: changed all the injectors and fuel rail to the ones from my 2.5 (in case of bad injectors) and it became a tad better, but nothing near what it should be like. Still hesitates really bad :(

I wish my Omega was like this again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ml0mB8uiavA -- this one seems to be pulling forever :o

What should I try next? Throw away my cats? I hate being clueless.. This does my head in, lol..
