Hi Guys,
I have just bought an MV6 estate and the previous owner put some nice black leather recaros in it.
They are great seats but unknown to me, he hadnt wired them up. I just had a chap look and he says the relays or box under the seats are missing.
HELP! how can I get one or mock one up so the seats will move electrically and be heated!

Are they sports leather, or Elite leather (memory function), or CDX leather (like Elite leather, but no memory buttons)

Sports recaro,no memory function. Only electric up and down but want that working as well as the heat part.

That should just plug in, along with heaters. Unless the seats came from a prefacelift, then you could be partially buggered....


Also, does the Airbag light come on with ign, and go out after a couple of secs?

Sports leather heaters tend to last longer than Elite heaters.  My MV6 ones are still good (all 4 work, though obviously the rears are not original)

If the seats came from prefacelift, the heaters won't work. Too different.

Normally a manufacturing date on seat somewhere, but if the plug is different, thats a good sign
