......on Saturday morning. :( Traded it for something a bit more practical. A vauxhall, of course :y

Yes, Steve is being truthful.

We have come to an arrangement where he has offered me a fantastic figure to buy back the Silver facelift LPG that I bought from him a few months ago...

I love the car too, but I couldn't turn it down.

I hope you enjoy her once more, Steve :y

I said "a bit more practical" James :P

It's a 10 month old Astra 1.6 SXi 16v 5 door hatchback. 14000 miles, cheap at £8250 :y

8 grand on an Astra??? ya should have spent 2k on an omega and 500 quid on a gas conversion!, spend the rest on fuel!

AstraH nice as they look, have a few build issues compared to the G.

Not driven a H, but the astraG gave me massive back ache when driving, the seats are crap!
woeful build quality (esp interior) aside, they are not a bad car. Driven quite a few.  Also had the estate version to get from Dijon to Calais when the MV6 decided it wanted to go home on a low loader, and it was OK on that trip (got to be 300+ miles).  Hit a bloody great crow at about 180kph, that made a mess though - fortunately, AVIS had marked every panel damaged when I picked up the car earlier  :-X

Nothing special about them. Some are rain sensitive instead of intermittent, otherwise normal...

As i was on Holiday i drove my friends Zafira, all the extras you could imagine.
The thing i hated the most though, was the stupid Indicators, took me a while to get used to them.

Yes, Astra-H has lane changer indicators as well (as do most modern Vx/Fords etc).  Takes a few miles to get used to them, but I quite like them...

Not just that, you tip them on a little harder and they stay on if you dont turn the steering wheel far enough they do not go off again, unless you tip in the other direction again, that took a little getting used to ::)

HA! Easy peasy. Try an alfa, they just do as they rather feel like, same as the wipers ;D
