are these prices correct?
« on: 15 July 2010, 15:44:15 »

Been into the dealers and asked about brake pad prices.
After the third time of telling the bint that I only wanted the price of the pads and not the discs as well she finally camer up with prices of £80 for front pads and £50 for rear pads. These are genuine VX parts. She said she could get cheaper  ones but I have thought all along that I've had Vx original parts when needed but with an average service being £168 I'm starting to doubt it, especially when she continued to say that the front pads fitted was going to be £186.00

Take care,

Thats the price of front discs and pads at TC price, unless OEM which are much more expensive.

Thanks tunnie. I thought she was having a laugh. At the local indi shop a full four wheels of pads by I think unipart where only £35 inc vat but the idea of using VX parts appeal to me especially after reading the what they say / what we say on this forums..
