New astra pics

Picked it up this morning. I am pleasantly surprised. Quite punchy for a 1.6. As Mark says, the interior is a bit characterless, but tt was only made as a repmobile/shopping trolley. Exterior looks quite modern and, of course, star silver is still the best colour on a Vx.

scaled down VXR snowflakes on each corner  :y

i never disliked astras but as you stated with this model, the interior is disappointing

3 things i like about the car,

1. the Alloys

2. The Vauxhall emblem on the back

3. The color

One thing I did notice is that, although there is plenty of room in the boot, that high bumper resrticts access and would easily be scraped.

Those light clusters should be part of the tail gate.

Is there a way to get into the boot/hatch in the event of a flat battery? It was something I thought of when I had a hire Astra t'other week. :-/ [size=8](sad I know)[/size]

freezing cold -2 feels like -10 and believe it or not Rain, we are talking instant ice  >:(

Ahh found something, wheres the oof Tax disc holder ??

What are the 4 buttons around the light switch?

No oof tax disc holder cause it's not an omega :D

The buttons around the light swith are....errrr...light buttons ;D Panel dimmer, headlight aim, front and rear fogs.

As you probably know...no temp guage :o

 :y I know. Surprised me that there wasn't one fitted. Not a gauge you need all the time but, non the less a worth while thing to have.
