Temp sender unit

Hi, Could someone please tell me where the Temp sender unit is located on the 2.2 CD? Thanks.

ECU sender or gauge sender?

Either way, on the 'chunk' attached to the back of the head which supports EGR valve etc:


If you meant the outside air temperature sensor, that's behind the bumper somewhere I believe.

It's at the rear of the cylinder head, but a PITB to get at and difficult even to see without a torch and mirror. Very rarely goes fubar though.
Do you have symptoms that lead you to suspect you have a problem with it?

Above pic is useful. Can someone do a '2.2 engine layout' guide, and add above pic?
