Do make sure you're firm about the setting you want - if they're anything like the local place i tried once, they'll just want to undo the bolts, hit the wheel with a hammer till the numbers are green, and do the bolts up again. Ideally there should be weight in the seat so that the camber is st at a realistic static ride height.

I set mine by eye and when I had it checked by a friend who has the gear it was spot-on.  Semi-fluke.

I would recommend scribing a line down the edge of the strut on the hub so that you can see where it was before adjustment.

This is precisely why we recommend the likes of Wheels-inmotion who understand Omega geometry over a bunch of retards with the right equipment but no knowhow on how to use it.

Haynes/Autodata et el simply reprint GM specs. GM's specs were way too wide to start with when all the suspension/bushes/shocks/spings/steering were brand spanking new, and seemingly hopeless when a bit of wear has crept in.

Tell them you want it setting to -1deg 10 and not 'in the green'

They will also need to re-set the tracking at the front to

Tracking at the moment reads Front Left Toe 0°04' and Front Right 0°02'   ... how do those numbers look ?
Oh dear oh dear, toe is 0 degrees.10' plus or minus .05 and they should be able to get it cock on.

Hold down the ALT key, type 0176 on the number pad and release the ALT, which gives you  ° :y

You could just type 'o' highlight it & press 'superscript'  ;)

I did mention that figure on the phone ... he said after checking Auto Data or something other than the data they used at the time that they did make a mistake and that it can be adjusted .... so does it need wieght in the car at the time or just adjust to -1°10' as it stands ?  :y

If you are setting it to -1d 10', you don't need weight.
