Looks to me like there as many variations in the price charged, and what an acceptable price to charge is, as there are OOF contributors!!

So come on guys, three questions:
1) Is there anyone within a reasonable distance from me who can either do the job for me, or help me do the job?
2) How much should I expect to pay for this job?
3) In my youth I completely restored a Triumph TR5, how come just changing a set of plugs now scares the wossname out of me?!?!

Cheers,
Gaz
I charge £225 for a Contitech cambelt and water pump, however, Surrey is too far for me so I would suggest getting intouch with Loo Knee ;)

Lack of practice  ;)  ;)

PM Darth Loo-Knee &/or Elite Pete, I'm sure one of them would be able to sort it for you.  :y

Yeah! That and the fact that my overalls don't fit me any more!! :)

Are they anywhere near me?

Is he likely to read this or do I contact him directly. If the latter, how do I do this?

Stoke's quite a step though. Is there anyone nearer?

Mine just cost me about £300 inc new water pump. Current Vauxhall dealer mechanic did it in my driveway about 15 miles from you. PM me if you want details.

Actually, now I remember he did a few others things as well for the £300 which did also involve some parts.
