Maximum size of alloys on omega
« on: 29 July 2010, 10:04:24 »

Hi I have a Omega Elite - Facelift.
What is the maximum size of alloys I can put on it without it rubbing against the arches?

Can I put on some 20" EVO STAR Irmscher ALLOYS:
245/40 R20

They will fit a Vauxhall ANTARA and are 5 stud.
Will they fit on the Omega?

Totally agree, but be careful of tramlining effect, will be severe on that combination of wheel and tyre size, may also touch arch on front under heavy braking. 30 profile will be like having rubber bands on, watch out for large potholes, and ride quality will be poor.

Will definately have to watch effect on geometry too!!

NOT a combination I would personally advise, better on 19" and 40 series rubber.
