GM Front disc pads

Any one recently bought GM front brake pads..9192124 on Trade card and remember the price.
Need a set and don,t want to get stung .

Iirc £80 odd for the tc disc and pad front axle set.

Chris...its just the front pads only/not the disc/pad set..did the discs/pads on last change about 20k ago but feel front pads need replacing.

The TC pads are around £15 irrc, genuine OE pads (not TC item) are around £75 iirc.

Ah sorry, miss read the title and piled in  ::)

In view of your other thread, while jacked try the wheel rocking test, hold at 12-6 o'clock and rock the wheel for wheel baring play, 3-6 o'clock for track rod steering play, wiggle the wishbone to hub with a bar by the hub to check the steering knuckle.

Bushes, with a bar and torch lever the wish bone joint aside and pear in with torch looking for cracks or splits in the bush itself. As said they will be sloppy if failed, firmly held if ok.

I've got a set here, left over from when I did a disc change but used the 'goldern' pads instead of the ones supplied in the disc and pad set.

What don you think of the oe pads?

I much prefer the oe pads, they seem to have much more bite, the other seem too wooden
