Hello, I'll be (attempting) replacing rear donut bushes soon. I was just wondering does anyone think if this tool from Halfords: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_172484_langId_-1_categoryId_165469
will be any good at helping me get them out?
Thanks! Oh one more thing, as it's the Elite I could raise the suspension as indicated in the guide in the maintenance section by removing the sensor, but how safe will this be? I suppose the only way it would be in danger of collapse would be a failure of the shocks? Thanks!

I've heard a claw hammer works well with a decent size foot behind it!

I'd say an axle stand is essential to support the vehicle as removal of those bushes requires some reasonable force.

If the air shocks drop, if the air line comes off for eg, then they drop fairly slowly, but you will need to Jack the car as well.

If bush complete use claw hammer, if bush separates and is stubborn to remove use puller, but you will need to bridge the gap behind bush in subframe and add a spacer for the puller centre bolt to push on, as the guide, although the pic could be clearer tbh.

A crowbar, cold chisel and hammer removed mine OK.
