Temperature Senders on 2.5TD
« on: 08 August 2010, 10:15:14 »

can someone tell me where the the sender is for the temp gauge on my tractor. I've been having lots of wierdness on the the temp. gauge recently like rising rapidly up to 97c then dropping rapidly back and flicking up and down like a poor connection.
I had a look at the diagram for the radiator sensors for the electric fans and discovered mine wasn't plugged in! There is only one tho'. It had a new top hose  2 years ago I guess the plug was knocked out, then so been relying on the viscous fan I suppose and that's with a caravan.

Thanks

Had this on mine a few years ago and it was the dashboard not fully seated, a good thump on the top left hand corner of the dash settled the multiplug back in and its never done it since, temp sender units are buried under the injector pipes!!!
