Drivers Door Mirror

How do you remove and refit the door mirror (offside/drivers) on a Facelift model???

Why oh why was there never a V8 Omega????
Such a missed oppurtunity.
Look forward to the Cadillac ATS & ATS-V. Maybe a re-badged one will replace the Miggy as a RWD runner?

Remove by carefully lifting the triangler piece of trim from the inside of the door immediately behind the mirror.  This will expose the screws (3 if I remember correctly!) that hold the mirror mounting in place, and then the wires and connector for the electrics. ;) ;)

That's about as I remember it too. The plug is a bit of a fiddle to disconnect/reconnect as there's not a lot of loom sticking out!

Yes, just by a pressure fixing holding the trim in place - no screws or bolts! :D :D ;)
