Running Lumpy lack of power
« on: 10 August 2010, 20:24:07 »

Hi i have just changed all The spark plugs after the car started missing and running really poorly, its a lot better now, its a bit quieter and running a bit better but its still feels and sounds like it still missing.
Could this be leads or the dispack?
Up to Monday morning the car was running sweet as a nut so its been a sudden change.
Any help appreciated

Have you plugged the Maf Sensor back in?
Did you put the spark plug leads back in the right firing order?
Did you change the Cambelt?  :)

Everything is plugged in still as i didnt take much apart to change the plugs, As for the leads they will only go to the correct plugs, so at a bit of a loss now.
Cambelt not changed Yet.
Could the leads be knackered or the Dispack?

Was the car doing what it is now before you started?

It was worse it was running really rough almost undrivable now its drivable but still feels like it missing, and lack of power when you put your foot down.

When you say lack of power when you put your foot down do you mean when driving the car and its under load it gets worse?

Check No6 plug lead is on the dis pack correctly. Its a short lead and can become loose when lifting the lead off the plug
