BRAKELIGHT TEST is normal - it can't test brake light bulbs until you have put foot on brake.

BRAKE PAD is not.

COOLANT LEVEL is not.

As mentioned, Brake Test is normal and will disappear when you press the brake pedal (unless you have a brakelight out).

Coolant Level:  If you have sufficient coolant, the sensor, which is a float in the expansion bottle is probably clogged with lime, or other contaminants.  Remove the expansion bottle (nice and easy) and wash it thoroughly with clean water and a detergent.  If it is limescale, use the stuff you put in kettles to get rid of it.

Failing that, I believe a new expansion bottle is only £30 ish from Vx.

yeah its there, and clipped in  - but still get the message.
Is there one both sides?
are there sensors on the rear?
can you buy new sensors seperately? or do they come only with VX pads or something

1. Yes, at least there is on my Omega, although I've seen Vectra's with sensors on one side only.
2. No.
3. Yes.

ALL pads come with separate sensors.

no they don't - I have purchased pads without sensors, hence wondering if you can get the sensors as a seperate purchase (unless thats what you meant) :y

Thats how i read it, you have to buy the sensors separately, if you buy a set of brake pads or dics and pad set, sensors are always an extra

Cool thanks - so for the sake of clarity, the meaning was "No pads come with sensors, you have to buy them seperately"
I'll get down my friendly dealer and get some - see if that resolves my Check message
