You can get replacement rubber boots and springs for DIS packs from VX.

Thanks folks. I think I'll renew the coil pack and have the gas system tested. My mechanic will just love me! Apparently a nightmare to get at the coilpack as lpg system gubbins needs removed first - he did that a week ago!

Have you tried actually disabling the LPG and driving around for a few days on petrol ? it would at least definitely eliminate the LPG system. :-/

Sort of...

The 2.2 (4 cylinder) and 2.6/3.2 (6 cylinder) are 'coil on plug' engines.

The coils are part of a plastic strip with 3 (or 4) coils on that fits into the well in the cam covers.
