My astra is 115PS (Yes, I know) but on parkers is 113BHP. Can someone tell me why PS is quoted and what it actually means.

Bhp is imperial horse power (1Hp = 745W) and PS is metric horse power (1Hp = 735W)

To convert multiply the PS by 0.986

I note you have the VVT engine then......been quite impressed with those, they retain decent low down grunt but are still good at the top.

Also note that Bhp = (torque x Revs)/5252

My driving style is still more suited to a big car. Cant get used to having to rev up to pull away. The low down grunt os OK, but only upwards of 1200 revs, there is absolutely nothing below that.
