Trim adjustment - passenger air vent
« on: 17 August 2010, 14:18:47 »

I think the front passenger air vent is misaligned/sticking out a bit.

Is there a guide as to how I can remove and put back in without breaking it? Don't want to force it in and make it worse!

Wifey's best butter knives x2! One in either side and tease the vent out, they come out remarkably easily :y

Is pushing back in a case of further bending (following the arc of the vent as it were) so the securing tabs clip under?

Pop it out first to see if there is a reason it's hanging out one end. It may be the locating tab is broken. To refit just push it in square and quite firmly, you'll feel it click in :y

[edit]If the tab is broken I have a few here ;)[/edit]
