Fitted the new vauxhall part on Thursday due to the fact the dealer ordered the inner and not the outter that I needed all OK bit of a sod to do up the ball joint nut but got it done in the end. Had to pay £35 to get tracking done so in all about £60. DIY. Non trade club tie rod from dealer would have been £42 + VAT plus labour  ;D ;D ;D

I had a huge problem with track rods from Autovaux. Basically the small rubber boots round ball joints rotted away in a few months. Over about 18 months I got through 3 complete sets.

In the end I went to my local auto factors and bought a forth set of pattern parts and they have been fine.

Well I just hope as I've used a vauxhall part that does not happen, but I have got to go back to the place that did the tracking for me as when I was at work today I could see the plod out in the car park and the camber on the side I did looks well out to the other side, but at this rate I think it will be a trip to WIM as I am getting fed up as in the last 5 weeks I,ve spent £95 with the other place on thier computer and it's still not correct. :'(
