ideas for a holiday?
« on: 10 January 2008, 17:35:39 »

some freinds and I want to go on a holiday in march.... someware cheap! around £300 quid, but no idea where to go!

Was thinking spain but not too sure on the weather in march... comes back average 15/16 which is in the south... which is not great....

Maybe thinkin another mini-road trip but this time in my Omega and drive to Danmark via Amsterdam.

Tunisa/Egypt/Crete came up, Ireland seams expensive. silly priced Ferrys and hours they go at!

Any suggesions for something maybe a bit different?

Scotland.....

great hills and haggis up north. And as you pass my house you can drop the £300 in  ;D

Seriously - Fuerteventura if you want beaches and decent heat that time of year (22/23)...may be pushing it for £300 though.

Don't know if you can get to the Canaries for 300, but that's good in March.  Sleazyjet does Athens cheap, but not sure about the weather.  I've done Egypt in March and that was nice, and cheap at the time.  Not really a lads trip though, neither is Sicily.

Drive to Morocco?  [smiley=evil.gif] :)

[smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] Greece is going to be much like Turkey at that time of year, still look on the bright side of life (is there not a song title in there somewhere) ;D it will still be a lot hotter then England  ::) even if it's rainning

You can do both, that is the part of the Sinai that I was talking about. Great snorkeling.  Best way is to go to Cairo and take the bus.  A lot cheaper than via Israel.
