Reprogramming autobox ECU
« on: 15 September 2010, 21:00:18 »

Ok first "real" issue now i'm running. the autobox ecu still thinks it is being driven by a V6 rather than a TD.

Any one of you clever chaps/chapesses out there able to reprogram the ECU with a diesel map, oh and is reasonably close

Hmmm, Marks DTM in Nottigham is probably closest....   ....not sure I'd trust such a task to garage/dealer, who would probably say it needs a new ECU.

Note, its only reprgrammable is its a 1998 or later ecu...

That's my feeling too, the last thing I wanted was a dealer poking about with it. It should be flashable as it's a 99 MY
