P1700 is either SVS (service) or a Transmission fault code, not unusual for the 2.2 to through up silly codes if the Cam sensor is on its way out.

When mine went it through up loads of codes changed sensor (genuine vx only) had codes cleared and the silly ones never came back.  :y

Are they showing as present or not O  :question

2.2 makes sense, and camshaft sensor makes the gearbox throw wobbles over the CAN bus on those units

Yep it's the 2.2,  had svs and Mil lighting up intermitently.

No codes where showing yesterday but I caught it today when they lit up so they were not stored previously.  :y
