Gearbox now dying
« on: 26 September 2010, 19:31:18 »

Hi to all at O.O.F.
my gear box is dying i now have all sorts of problems ,,,slipping when pulling away, slipping in top and a thud between gears sometimes.
So i suppose i need another gearbox any one with a box for a 2.5 year 2000 elite.
Cheers Bob

If you have a manual, are you sure it is the gearbox and not the clutch? :-/ :-/

You will have slippage when your clutch is finished ;) ;)

I believe I've tried to sell you my auto transmission before, haven't I???

I've spent this morning removing it from my car and it's now in the shed waiting for a new home...
