Oil cooler - quick question
« on: 05 October 2010, 17:35:49 »

Hi, currently changing the oil cooler and using the guide on here I'm at the point where I need to move the metal cooler pipes out the way to ease access to the cooler.

Is there an easy way to move these? i have disconected them at both ends but there doesn't seem to be enough play to get them out the way. I don't want to force them and risk bending them.

Cheers

Ime, there is still a battle to be had getting them out the way as you say. But I found If the pipes are free to move in the right direction at the bottom the top end can eventually be arranged out of the way, they still need a firm hand though.... :-/

Thanks. Will be a bit firmer with them in the morning, they keep self locating back into the block near the oil fiter, I bet when I want to put them back in they won't want to go ;D
