Very sick migy
« on: 04 October 2010, 17:46:17 »

Help when out ast night car was fine

this moring was very low on petrol compter reading 40 odd miles left on tank

I pulled in ushal texicogarage near me and put 20quis worth in

had to go bout 2 miles o somewhere do about a mle and can feel a vibration in car an trow seat.

gets worse my elite is down on power sound like missing ad running like a tracktor.

i start gettinmg paronoid that i may have put in disel by mistake
not shaw just sort of parnoid as been stresst this week for family resons.

so call a m8 and we drain tank dry from boot.
can make our mind if disel in it or not dont look it and burns like petrol not disel

both of us cant smellwell hes had 4 ops on nose due to sinus and iv got bad sinus as well

chuck in 26 quids worth of fresh unleaded and some injector cleaner

It seem a fair bit better back on power more so i take for about a 15-20mile run but it still not right not pulling like a 3L elite at all but seem lik its missing just ruff and down on power

call a mobile machanic out he has a look at what we raied out and dont tink theres no disel in it at all

i re check petrol and its nealy empty again no way would have done that jucie on the run i did

so i re check boot just in case leaking from there but thats dry and is every where else

get home couple of mile m8 follows but t running ruff as hell

any idears im starting to lose the lot

having case flow probs at moment and need car bad

Unplug the maf sensor and see how it runs without it.

I suspect that you have pulled some dirt through and have a part blocked fuel filter.
Easy fix is to change it.

thank m8
it reall was panic times as s well as other problems Iv got a spnal deformity and back has been royaly fooked ever  since some guy rear ended me early in year
and im like 3 miles from bus stop lol

and whtt with eery thing  else and mashed up on heavy painkillers half the time was relly thinking i fooked up with puting the disel in

I now know 110% it want me filling it ith disel

just got someone  to drive me up garage

I knew which pump i stoped at and was 100% that nosle i used was one where the rubber grip had worn off

remember dam thing as frezzing hand and swap hands lol

when and had a look and there are only two guns on the pump i stoped at one is unleaded one is disel

but it the unleaded one thats missing the handel rubber grip

thank god for that lol i want the mupet that fooked up

so eather duff petrol or just a coisidence, that it went just after filling up

drainded and refilled so duff petrol looks unlikely

just looked at service invteals and its due a fule flitter plugs and air fillte just about now

so ill start there and see what happens
and see if i can get it on a tech two on the cheap

think break out that 69%vol rum and chill out some tonight

Sounds good to me... along with those painkillers in your system I'll bet your going to have a right old evening! I can't wait to see how you type when your pi55hed...
 :y

As for the car, you mention that the e.m.l. light is not on? Does it come on for a moment when the ignition is first switched on? If so then I wouldn't bother with the paper clip or 'cheap tech II'.
First thing I'd check for is a strong spark.
