MV6 vs. Elite
« on: 08 October 2010, 16:23:14 »

There is an interesting thread running on PistonHeads about Omegas and a chap on there that has owned a few says the above are chalk and cheese in the handling dept. However he does not know what the differences in parts are between the two. Anyone know and whether the MV6 parts can be retro fitted to the Elite?

Yes, MV6 shocks, springs, steering tie rods and hubs(?) can be fitted to Elite...

Even fitted, that is an outrageous amount of money for around £80 of parts and 2hrs labour :o

Might have been an error on may part as I think I might have put the cost for the whole job that included HBV, spark plugs etc. :D I didn't have my invoice to hand!

Glad to see you posted on that thread Pete! I knew there was someone on here that did the cam cover gaskets for peanuts! Just couldn't remember who it was. Now I know it's you! :)
