Back to Tesco...
« on: 12 January 2008, 19:31:34 »

...tomorrow to take back the Logitech QuickCam Messenger I bought today.

SWMBO wanted me to buy one today as she wants to chat to (and be seen by) her sister tomorrow when it's her sister's birthday. Went to the store and rejected the MS one as it was only for XP and Vista (I'm on Win2K Pro). I read the Logitech box and it all it said was "For all your Messenger needs". Great, I thought. Took it home, popped the CD in and it told me I needed XP Service Pack 2. Huh? I finally examined the box again and found that the requirement for XP or Vista was printed underneath the bottom of the box!!! Thanks a bunch, Logitech.  >:(

Thanks, Martin, but it doesn't seem to mention the QuickCam Messenger. Do you think it's still worth trying?

If it's no good, I have a Logitech Quickcam Messenger, which I bought about 3 years ago. Should be ok for Win2k. I could send you the CD if you need it.
