Engine stall after selecting "D"
« on: 13 October 2010, 19:18:22 »

Just happened today. I was waiting my turn on the gas station and inching the car forward when the que moved.
Let it sit on "P" when waiting.

Weird thing happened. The engine stall almost immediately after selecting "D" and moving the car again. It did this only once and had no problems starting the engine again. No limping home-lights or anything.

What happening before this was that i changed winter tyres since i'm expecting snow tomorrow and...
Well i kinda used the kick down twice and then run on the highway about 120-130km/h for 20 minutes.

I noticed the finger hole below the handbrake was getting warm. I have seen that before, but i don't think i have seen that in everyday use on slower speeds.

So, any idea if this stall was a symptom of something expensive or just a random?
This car feels awkward again after changing the tyres, but i guess that is common as it happens twice a year, every year. :P
