2000 Omega 2.5 TD CDX Auto - mistery switch
« on: 10 October 2010, 21:07:56 »

I have a 2000 Omega 2.5 TD CDX Auto that has a square button fitted to the dash, just to the left of the main lighting switch, and is marked 'Tm' enclosed in a white circle. There is no reference to this switch in the owners manual. Does anyone know what function this switch has. I am afraid to press it in case the car self destructs.

There are wires, connectors, and a box of electronics (and an antenna ) all attached to the back of that little square switch.
When I bought my 2000 Omega, the Traffic Master kept asking me to input the verifaction code to enable, and it really got on my nerves having to keep cancelling this message.
I was never going to subscribe, so i disconnected everything and took it out of the car.

Cheers, BP

I cant remember exactly, but if you TM keeps talking to you, you can press the button 5 or 7 times in quick succession to shut the posh cow up.  :y
