P38 injector pump
« on: 23 October 2010, 12:15:23 »

Can the fuel pump from the range rover P38(bmw engine) be fitted to the tractor.
I was just wondering if there is any difference to the wiring/voltage as it's the bmw engine fitted to both.
A breakers close to me has just got range rover in.

Don't know for sure, but if I needed one I would be round at the breakers in no time to get it.
My guess is it will be the same.
I use the Range Rover manual for all my engine maintenance and it's pretty acurate.

ask TB about this, im sure there is issues of having to use tech2 if you change the pump, and that was between omegas. so range rover might be different.

same engine but the pumps will need to be the same number or your managememnt system may not allow it to run!!!
