if its charging but down on output check the wire from alternator to battery and especially at the crimp connectors at each end too see if they are getting warm under load

These are 'crimp connectors'; http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=crimp%20connectors&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1216&bih=761

Basicly where the wire joins the plastic or metal 'connector' to hook over something much bigger, (as in the battery terminal).

Hope this helps?

it helps.. but where do i specificly need to check?? besides the crimps at battery terminals where are the others? when i disconect the battery i first conect the + and then the - but small sparks emerge, wich means consumers are on. is this normal??

p.s. if the crimps warm up what does it mean???
