top mount

hi all found another job to do on the meega   front passenger side suspension top mount  the bearings are shot   is this a hard job to do    do i have to remove the spring and lose fingers ;D    thanks

Yes! You'll have to get someone else to pick up your fingers.  ::) ::) ::)

Yes! You'll have to get someone else to pick up your fingers.  ::) ::) ::)

Not a difficult job, but you'd need a decent set of spring compressors.  :y

any reccomendations for the spring compressors    i want to have a go myself  will have to get a haynes book of lies to help me out ;D

I wouldn't suggest a cheapo set, Omega springs are quite hefty. Considering the limited amount of use they'll get, I went a bit overboard when I bought my Teng compressors, there's 3 & they have a safety latch on them too.

Not a bad job to do really, the steering makes a sort of grinding/clonking noise when turning, full lock was bad on a few I have done.   :y

cheers fellas   i did see those mark   im going to give them a go  dont really want to spend loads on something that will rarely be used     will slowly but surely get my omega 100% :y
