Thanx everyone for the advice. I am pretty certain that glass insurance only covers the front windscreen though from what others have told me.
I did contact them immediately but their Sunday response centre took my details and said someone would contact me. Still waiting for that call! I doubt very much though whether I will make a claim or just leave it as a no cost information report with the Crime Number and say I am repairing it myself.
Apart from that there is also the fact that if all the glass is replaced under an insurance claim it might just cause the insurers to opt for writing the car off, drastically increase my future premiums, losing my NCB and then paying me a pittance. I have done far too much work on it, had others do the same and have spent too much to lose it that way!
The front screen I will put through as it is covered and I only pay the £75.00 excess.
I have ordered the side 3 from my usual Ebay site which is brilliant for the total of £48.00 inc 24 hr delivery. The rear screen I am trying to get a used one but have been quoted just under £200.00 with a guarantee/warranty for a new one inclusive fitted at my local AutoGlass. They will charge me £100.00 inclusive to fit a used one I supply but will offer no warranty or guarantee if they damage it putting it in.
A devil and the deep blue sea choice

All I could do with now is a bit of knowhow to do the sides. Anyone done it before?

Got to get it done before the white stuff and wet arrives! One good thing I suppose (NOT) is that it using no petrol at the moment even if it is killing my knackered bionic legs

Hey Ho and away we go to get the glass cleaned up from the interior.

Ain't life a bitch!!!!!
