v6 ht leads

hi all im hoping ive found the cause of my intermittant misfire and lumpy idle     ive just had the engine running in the dark and could see arcing of the spark on the pass side just where the leads dissapear down the back    so am i right in thinking the leads may be my problem

Looks like it :y Most likely rubbing on something and worn through the sheath. Cacoon it in some good quality insulation tape until you can get a replacement :y

Or you can cut up some old small diameter hose, slide it over and then tape it up

thanks fellas  good ideas i didnt think of  luckily i dont really need the car this week so will have a go at sorting them :y

just an update  removed the 3 leads on the passenger side what a nightmare >:(   well the shortest lead  the cable just fell out of the end connectors ;D ;D  so they have definately had it ;D

the good news is a neighbour who has a omega pointed me in the direction of a local motorfactors that does a set for £30 and hes had them in his omega for 40 thou miles without problem   so picking up a set in the morning :y

ive lost the image i had on paper of the order the leads go in from plug to dis  could someone please help out   thanks
