heater problem

hi guys im hoping some one can help me i got a face lift 2000 2.5 v6 cd and im having heater problems only the drivers side is getting hot the passenger side is freezing i have tried flushing the matrix all seems fine but would have thought if it was the matrix there would be the same both sides please advise on this if you can thanx guys wayne. ;)

There is a flap behind the glove box which is prone to shedding it's linkage.

OK i did it i got it bk on its a very bad design tho so i am gunna think up something to stop it coming of again oh and yes it is very very fiddly you do need patiance if ya got none then sorry but its gunna cost ya!  :P but anyways its done now and thanx for your help  :y
