My door cards are scratched and i want to refurbish them. what should i use to do it?? the electric mirror joystick is verry sticky, the left-right selector is the same, and even the window buttons. what can i do against that?

For the sticky parts use window cleaning liquid but don't overdo it, afterwards immediately wipe it of with rag dipped in water to avoid discoloration

i'll try.. but why does it get sticky? someone else told me to use dishwashing liquid on them

i've learned from my romanian coleagues how to do it: using paint thinner rub down untill its just plastic, using a lot of cloth to wipe, and carefully masking everything around. then spray paint them in black

i will make them but it will be some time.. right now its freezing cold to make such a operation . i will make pics when i will refurbish them

Yes, yours would look better painted, mine were showing signs of wear:-

Pick any colour you want, matt or gloss finish. I went for the "Piano black" look.

indeed.. i will have to paint also the pocket on teh door card because that is also scratched on mine. your beige and black contrast is mind blowing

No need to paint it mate,just done all mine,as the door cards were removed alreadyprior to having car sprayed,so as mentioned earlier in the thread,use thinners and a scourer pad,time consuming and tedius i know,but worth it in te end.Also did the rear heater vents.Use silicon spray when complete on the original colour underneath ater.

I agree, they also look much better, trouble is you will need to relocate the electric window switch panel.
It seems that when Vx. released the face lift version most of the stuff they changed was worse than the older model.

neah.. i like the facelift ones better than those ancient designs .
