condensation build up when air con on mv6

hi my air con is running funny it is not blowing out at all but fan is running .the only way to get the air to come out is if the recirculation button is pressed but this builds up condensation on the windows when i switch it back it makes a thud as if something is being shut off and no air heated air comes out please help does anyone know what the funk is wrong???? :( ::)

you pollen filter could be blocked  ::) not letting the air pass through it

would this stop air con from blowing out air but with the fan still running ???it does work in re circulation mode . how is this possible???

i dont think air recon goes through the filter

It's under the passenger side scuttle.   :y

Polen filter is in the scuttle pas side. Open bonnet, plastic bit between windscreen and rubber seal between bonnet and bulkhead.

Pull seal off and the flap is under there by tax disc.

Try the re set. Press and hold auto and off simultaneously for a few seconds until the motors start buzzing. Some facelifts need the key in position 1 for this to work for some odd reason.


There is another reset for the re circ flap mentioned on tis, but can't remember what it is. The re circa flap gets fuddled and ends up in the wrong position iirc...? Someone will advise I'm sure.

yes i think i understand it does seem like a fault of some sort just cant see it being pollen filter seems to easy . but will try both tomorrow it does seem just to be blocked had pollen filter change about a year ago :o
