dent removal

Hello has anyone ever heard of removing small dents with a hair dryer and a tin of compressed air cheers   :-/ ajn

never heard of the air, but I guess it's the same theory as this .......

The theory is you turn the compressed air can upside down so all that comes out is the (very cold) propellant, and it's meant to work the same as the ice trick..

Never tried it myself, though.

im just thinking  the mobile dent repairers do they use this method  never had to use one so never seen them work

Nope, they use thin .. 'things' with little tappers on the end and tap it out from the inside, AFAIK

without wishing to stand over him I watched a dent repairer for a few minutes & he used a series of 'drum sticks' to smooth the dent outs from the inside, which is why they tend to charge per panel.

done it with super glue and nut and bolt, and glue remover and claw hammer. worked ok have to T-cut after.

Hmm... * wonders about using a DIY blow torch *

If i tip it upside down, I will get liquid gas spraying out, and should work out cheaper too!

I always seem to think of compressed air as expensive for what it is?

Could only use gas outside of course! ;D

no it doesn't work! theory is there but as soon as the area gets cold or hot! again the dent reappears i've tried this on my hail damage and they didn't even dissappear!
