Although when the Omegas go, my love affair with cars will be over, and it will only be a means of transport then.
I like the Omega in general, but I'd have thought that any one with a love of cars would be able to find an alternative. After all an Omega is a product of a mass market car manufacturer.

Ah yes, but i think the Omega is a perfect compromise of many different desirable aspects in a car, only excelling in one - comfort, and meeting more than acceptable levels for the rest. I'm not bothered about 'the ultimate driving experience' or whatever people who drive BMWs call it, who don't know their arse from a sump plug.
When the migs go it'll be something cheap and cheerful, a low maint 4 pot fwd diesel, preferably non commonrail and non turbo so I can whack aload of wvo in, automatic aswell, it's got to be automatic.
